Overview
A customer required PCBA manufacturing support for a compact 12V LED driver board containing power components, connectors, and mixed component sizes.
Manufacturing Challenge
The assembly required careful verification of component ratings and polarity. Taller power components and connectors also needed controlled soldering and protection during packing.
Manufacturing Approach
We checked the BOM against the supplied sample and reviewed the PCB data before production. SMT components were assembled first, followed by larger parts and connectors with manual support where appropriate.
Inspection covered component polarity, solder joints, connector strength, and board cleanliness. Packing was arranged to prevent pressure on exposed components during transportation.
Result
The completed LED driver PCB assemblies were delivered for integration into the customer’s lighting products.
