What do you check during DFM and DFT review?

DFM review focuses on whether the board can be fabricated and assembled reliably, including trace spacing, drill and via sizes, stack-up, solder mask, component spacing, footprints, and panelization. DFT review focuses on test-point access, programming interfaces, ICT or FCT feasibility, fixture requirements, and the practical test method for production. The review scope is confirmed according to the board design and intended production process.

Yes. We can review manufacturer part numbers, package compatibility, lifecycle status, availability, lead times, and sourcing risks. If a component is unavailable, obsolete, or unsuitable for production, possible alternatives can be discussed with you. No replacement should move forward until the specifications and project impact have been reviewed and approved.

We return the identified issues, engineering comments, and recommended actions for your review. You can confirm the proposed changes, provide revised files, or discuss any points that need further evaluation. Once the files and production requirements are confirmed, the project can move into PCB fabrication, component sourcing, assembly, and testing under the agreed scope.
